Here’s the scoop: We are currently looking for a passionate, proactive and skilled Sales Coordinator to join our team. You’ll report directly to our CEO, Nin Rai and be responsible for the delivery of sales responsibilities for Truffles Fine Foods Catering with daily responsibilities such as:
Manage catering inquiries with a personable and professional approach and assess clients needs accordingly
Book events and coordinate with Operations Manager
Interact with clients to obtain feedback on product quality, service levels and proactively respond to guest issues or complaints
Send invoices, follow up and take care or payments
Assist with preparation for and attend tradeshows, networking events (and any sales/marketing initiatives)
Compile and manage database for promotional mailings/newsletter
Provide general office administration including filing, monitoring and replacement of collateral, office supplies, photocopier/printer etc.
Contact any potential clients and event planners and arrange face-to-face meetings
Contact former/current clients and update them with new menus and event services
Work with venues
Achieve sales goals
Provide excellent and beyond customer service
Creative approach with clients
Patience and understanding
A BIT MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE AS A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Business Management
Basic marketing skills and passion for food and people is a must!
Sales expert who is highly resourceful, savvy and responsive to requests and displays a great ability to problem solve on-the-fly with excellent attention to detail
Strong customer service skills and positive, professional attitude is a must
Software program knowledge: Total Party Planner and Quickbooks is an asset
Ability to multi-task and manage several on-going projects at one time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with analytical capabilities
Experience in the catering/event/hospitality industry is an asset
